Biography
Adrienne Frantz, who was born on June 7, 1978 in Mount Clemens, Michigan, is an Emmy Award winning actress who is best known for playing Amber Ashby on CBS’ The Bold and the Beautiful . In 2006, she reprised her role as Amber in The Young and the Restless. She first entered the soap opera business in 1997 when she played Tiffany Thorne on Sunset Beach. She then moved to The Bold and the Beautiful , winning a Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Younger Actress for her role. In May 2006, Frantz focused on her musical career, recording her debut album with producer Daniel Wise.
Ambrosia “Amber” Ashby is played by Adrienne Frantz on CBS’ The Young and the Restless. Amber came to Genoa City to perform at Indigo, the jazz club owned by Neil Winters. After her band was cancelled, she got involved with Adrian Korbel who was more interested in Colleen Carlton. He later broke up with Amber and she became attracted to a mysterious bartender named Cane Ashby, who supposedly was the missing Chancellor son. She then drugged Cane and orchestrated a fax wedding with the help of Alison Stewart. Cane didn’t know anything about a wedding but was willing to start a relationship with her. Little does he know, Amber was only interested in him because he was a Chancellor.
