Biography
British-born actress Amy Price-Francis ironically didn’t find success in her home country, but instead across the pond. She began her career in 1998, and has since appeared in numerous television shows both in Canada and the United States. The National Theatre School graduate’s first regular role came in 1999, when she starred in the obscure drama series Little Men. She was more known in the Canadian sci-fi series The Tracker, which aired for one season in 2001.
Most of Price-Francis’ early roles were in Canadian television shows, such as Snakes and Ladders and Rumours. However, she also took guest spots in both countries’ shows, such as Mutant X, 1-800-Missing, Medium and The Dead Zone. She also began appearing in films, making her debut in 2005’s Cake. Later in her career, she began appearing in many American television shows as a regular or recurring player. After a role in Californication, she took a regular stint in The Cleaner as Melissa Banks, the wife of protagonist William banks (Benjamin Bratt). She is slated to take a recurring role in the upcoming season of 24.
