Biography
Arlene Tur took up marketing and public relations at Florida International University. During the time, she played beach volleyball, which led to her being discovered as a model. While modelling she began to train as an actress, later making her acting debut in the Telemundo drama Los Teens.
Tur’s first regular television role came in 2008, when she joined the cast of the Starz series Crash. She also had guest appearances in Grey’s Anatomy and Lie to Me, as well as several TV hosting gigs. She made her film debut in 2008’s Last Exit. She recently joined the cast of the BBC/Starz co-production Torchwood.
