Biography
Douglas Reith made his TV debut in 1978 on the series Angels. After landing several minor guest roles, he was cast as Chamberlain on The Prince and the Pauper. He also booked several movie gigs like Get Carman: The Trials of George Carman QC, Lady Jane, The Queen, W.E. and Rush. At present, he plays Lord Merton on the TV series Downton Abbey.
