Jane Elliot, who was born on January 17, 1947 in New York, is an award winning actress who is best known as Tracy Quartermaine on two TV series, General Hospital and The City. Her notable film appearances include Change of Habit, Some Kind of Wonderful, and Baby Boom. Aside from appearing on television and film, she has also done Broadway productions and commercial voice overs.
Tracy Quartermaine Spencer is played by Jane Elliot in the soap opera General Hospital. Tracy is the spoiled and bad mannered daughter of the wealthy Edward and Lila Quartermaine who later grew up to be a divorcee and neglectful mother. Her first marriage was to Lord Lawrence Ashton with whom she bore a son named Ned. She also had another son, this time with Paul Hornsby, and was named Dillon. After Dillon was born, she fled to Europe to escape a prosecution and stop Paul from taking custody of Dillon. After many years she returned to Port Charles with a teenage Dillon in tow, and developed a relationship with Luke Spencer, who later became her husband even if he was still devoted to his former wife and great love, Laura.
