Actress Molly Tarlov was born and raised in Manhattan, New York and got into theatre at an early age. When she was ten years old, she was in a production of Bye Bye Birdie at the Little Red School House. She pursued a career in acting by spending her summers at the Interlochen Center for the Arts and in Paris. She also studied in NYU’s Tisch, receiving her degree in theatre from Bennington College. She later trained at The Atlantic Theater Company and the LAByrinth Theater Master Class. By that time, she also got into writing until she landed her first TV role. She was seen on an episode of iCarly. She continued to appear on the small screen, getting parts in Gravity and Huge, until she landed the role of Sadie Saxton on the MTV series Awkward in 2011. Her character is the queen bee of the school, but there’s another layer to her that others might not easily see.
