The drama with one another isn’t the only thing the ladies of Freeform’s Pretty Little Liars will face as the show returns for the second half of season 7. Paige makes quite the splash when she returns to the series in the episode called “Playtime.” Interestingly enough, she and Emily are going to be working with one another, so there’s no way to escape this one.
Who Should Emily End up with on Pretty Little Liars?>>>
A new teaser released by Freeform shows school administrators toasting to both Emily and Paige on their new positions. Emily is the coach for the Varsity swim team and Paige was hired on as the Athletic Supervisor. Just as fans might think, things start off with a pretty awkward vibe as Emily points out she really thought their alma mater, Rosewood High School, would choose one of them, not both. It’s clear she wasn’t expecting to work with her ex. But Paige doesn’t seem to mind.
Still, Alison made it clear she wasn’t a fan of Paige working closely with Emily. She and Emily have always had a romantic connection but it hasn’t gone anywhere. Not yet, anyway. Alison wasn’t afraid to show that Paige’s return made her feel livid and possibly even threatened as she stormed out of the room. But not before she updated Emily on her “humiliating” appointment with the doctor.

“I was gonna have the baby of a perfect stranger,” she said when Emily asked what the doctor told her. See the teaser below.
This is just one of the loose ends that need to be tied up as the series comes to an end this year. In the first half of the season, the girls accidentally killed Alison’s dangerous husband (after they found out the truth about him) and subsequently tried to cover it up and Hannah escaped from her dangerous kidnapper. Jenna made her now-infamous comeback that is slated to cause even more issues with Hannah and Caleb as they were just getting back on track. (See that sneak peek here.)
