Only one more week remains of the audition phase for American Idol season 13. After that, there’s two weeks of Hollywood Week, and by the end of that round we’ll know who’s in the semifinals and will perform live on February 18 and 19.
But if you can’t wait that long and want to know right this instant who’s in the Top 31, then we’ve got you covered. Check out the list below (courtesy of The Idol Pad) of the 16 men and 15 women who will be competing for spots in the Top 13 next month.

Why 31 and not 30? Well, there will be 30 once all is said and done, but there’s a twist that involves input from America. According to The Idol Pad, “Ben Briley and Neco Starr will face off for the last male slot … as there is apparently not enough room for both of them.” Viewers will have the chance to vote for who makes it into the Top 30, “essentially eliminating the other one in 31st place.”
It’s unclear how that decision will be made, but I’m assuming once the Top 31 is revealed on the show, Idol will announce that fans can visit their website to vote between Ben and Neco and the results will be announced during Rush Week (when the semifinalists perform).
What are your thoughts on who made it into the Top 31? From the auditions that have aired so far, did any of your favorites make it? Any surprises?
American Idol airs Wednesdays and Thursdays at 8pm on FOX.
