One of the biggest shockers in the first half of season 7 of Pretty Little Liars was Alison’s pregnancy announcement. After the Liars had already killed and buried Archer, it seemed that he may have left behind a way to live on through Alison. Or did he? Is it possible that Archer wasn’t even the father of Alison’s unborn baby? Find out what actress Sasha Pieterse has to say about it.

Earlier on in season 7, you may remember that Emily’s eggs were stolen by A.D. If Alison was also being held hostage by A.D., could they have impregnated her untraditionally? Could it somehow tie in to Emily’s missing eggs? In an interview with TV Guide, here’s what Pieterse let slip:
“She’s upset because at this point she thinks its her dead, abusive, husband’s,” she said. “There’s a lot of surprises for Alison and Emison and all of these relationships [this season]. I love Alison’s storyline. It’s very unique. I think it’s going to throw a lot of curveballs for our fans, but [creator] Marlene [King] … tied a really nice bow on the show. I am really excited to see what fans think.”
Take note that Pieterse said, “at this point she thinks.” Does this mean that at a later point she’ll realize that the father of this baby is actually someone else?
It would be a very cool and very PLL-like twist to somehow have it be connected to Emily’s missing eggs. It could definitely further the Emison endgame of this show.
