Brace yourselves for yet another “historic” moment on The Bachelor. According to executive producer Mike Fleiss, the reality dating franchise will be making history again on this season’s After the Final Rose.

Prior to the After the Final Rose teaser, the creator of ABC’s reality dating franchise divulged plans to make a “historic” announcement about The Bachelor on Sunday and was “almost certain” he would be revealing the news during the 2017 Oscars.

However, the announcement was postponed due to a prop disaster on stage. Fleiss later announced that he would be sharing the “giant” news on Monday, urging viewers to tune in to episode nine of The Bachelor season 21.
