Still lamenting over Joe’s manipulation, Juelia tries to warn Samantha about him but to no avail. Samantha even spills the beans to Joe, who successfully convinces Samantha that what they have is real. As Juelia feels further distraught about the situation, rumors about Samantha and Joe make the rounds. Word on the street is that they have a history and, when confronted about it, they’re not coming clean. The couple turn into partners in crime as they cook up a new plan to keep their stories straight.
Meanwhile, Ashley S. remains hopeful that a reconciliation with Dan is in the cards. She gets even more excited when her friend Amber James from The Bachelorette season 19 arrives in Paradise only to discover that Amber has her eye on Dan. Ashley S. breaks down as her friend and love interest head off on the streets of Puerto Vallarta for their date.
When JJ returns from his date with Megan, he learns about the lies weaved by Joe and Samantha. Furious that the couple robbed Juelia’s chance to find love, JJ becomes the hero as he confronts a defensive Joe which leads to more lies and a squabble.
