The cast of Bachelor in Paradise was announced today … well, most of the cast.
The final three spots will be filled by men from the current season of The Bachelorette.
ABC describes Bachelor in Paradise: “For seven weeks, the group will live together in Mexico, in an isolated romantic paradise and over the course of seven episodes we’ll follow these former bachelors and bachelorettes as they explore new relationships. America will watch as they fall in love or go through renewed heartbreak. The romantic dating series will feature new twists, shocking surprises, unexpected guests and some of the most unlikely relationships in Bachelor history, plus all the usual romance, drama and tears we’ve come to expect from the Bachelor franchise.”

So who are my picks for those spots amongst Andi Dorfman’s suitors?
First, let me explain that I’m not going to include anyone that I think will end up in the final four. Those dudes will be candidates for the next Bachelor, so they most likely wouldn’t get shipped off to Bachelor in Paradise first. That would just be sleazy.
For that reason, I won’t be including Nick, Marcus, Josh, or Chris in my considerations, because I believe they will be Andi’s final four guys.
Here are the three guys that I believe should be marooned on ABC’s new spin-off Bachelor in Paradise.
Cody
Cody is fun, outgoing and likes to get tan. He will thrive in the beach environment and will be a sure bet to hook up with Daniella and Elise.
Also, Cody’s muscles will bode well for him in the physical competitions, because you know they’ll have some weird ones like they had on Bachelor Pad.
Marquel
Marquel’s good looks and charm have been wasted on Andi. Yes, she frequently comments on how funny he is, but she never gives the damn guy a one-on-one date! There is never opportunity for sparks to fly between them.
Marquel will be witty, smart, and fun to watch. Plus maybe he’ll bring cookies and milk for his castmates like he did for Andi. I could see Ashlee crushing on Marquel, or maybe even the crazy chick Michelle.
Patrick
Maybe you think Patrick is a weird choice, but all cast members can’t be the life of the party. Sometimes you need a tall, handsome, well-bred rich boy. Like Patrick. He will class up the show a bit.
My guess is that Clare and AshLee will both fall madly in love with him. Hopefully he will choose neither of them in favor of Sarah.
