Fans have at least two Bachelorette weddings to look forward to but only one of them might actually make it on TV. Read on to find out the latest updates on Andi Dorfman and Josh Murray’s nuptuals, as well as Desiree Hartsock and Chris Siegfried’s big day.
Andi Dorfman and Josh Murray’s Guest List
Exes aren’t typically invited to weddings but couples from The Bachelor franchise who end up getting married seem to have a different perspective when it comes to making the guest list. Andi Dorfman told Hollywood Life that several of the men that she dated on The Bachelorette season 10 are “definitely getting invited” to her upcoming wedding with Josh Murray.
“Definitely some of my girls are getting invited from my season,” she said. “Josh is good friends with some of the guys. The cool guys from Josh’s season are definitely getting invited.”
Asked whether having exes on her wedding day would be weird and awkward, Andi said, “Nooo, it’s not awkward. Here’s the thing: Josh is friends with them and the people Josh is friends with are great guys, like they really are great guys. And all of them are happy and doing their own thing and we are happy for them, so they can bring their fiancees and girlfriends along and be one big happy family!”
The happy couple also shared that they are looking forward to a TV wedding. “Josh and I talked about it a little bit and we’re not opposed to it,” Andi revealed. “If everything goes well and it gets picked up for television then we are happy to do it on there. We might invite the cameras in… it’s so cool. We were talking about this the other day, like the fans saw us fall in love and we are okay with them seeing the result of our falling in love. There is something kinda cool with sharing it with everyone.”
“I think its great because a lot of our fans would love to see it,”Josh added. “So we are very open to having it on TV because we want to do that for everyone else, too.”
Desiree Hartsock and Chris Siegfried Set Wedding Date
Desiree Hartsock and Chris Siegfried are set to tie the knot in January 2015. Though an exact date was not revealed, the couple made the announcement official by sharing a quick video on Instagram. “It has been one incredible journey with the love of my life thus far but I cannot wait to marry him and start another chapter,” Desiree said.
Unlike previous Bachelor/Bachelorette weddings, it seems that Chris and Desiree’s big day will not be televised for fans. According to In Touch, “ABC has made the decision not to pay to air the Bachelorette’s wedding to Chris Siegfried because she’s too ‘boring’ — and she’s understandably furious!”
“They told Des they’re not going to pay her anything,” the source claims. “They’re not even going to put the wedding on TV!”
“Des is just boring,” the source added. “And plus, ratings for Sean and Catherine’s wedding weren’t that great.”
Meanwhile, the source revealed that might not be the case for Andi and Josh.
“They might change their mind on Andi because she and Josh are so popular,” the insider said. “But Des isn’t getting anything, and she’s pissed.”
Which TV wedding would you rather watch: Andi and Josh or Des and Chris?
