Two couples from The Bachelor franchise who are currently being plagued by intrigues and rumors have decided to break their silence. Read on to find out more.
Nikki and Juan Pablo
Eyes are still on Juan Pablo Galavis and girlfriend Nikki Ferrell, who didn’t get a customary proposal nor a declaration of love from the single dad in the finale of The Bachelor season 18. While they have tried to keep their distance from the ABC reality TV dating franchise in hopes of having a private and happy relationship, the couple admits that “no relationship is perfect.” Now they are not afraid to seek help and advice on the VH1 series Couple’s Therapy, which airs every Wednesday at 9pm.
“I needed a therapist to help me with [my daughter] Camila,” Galavis told Us Weekly. “I didn’t want her to be confused if someone is introduced as a girlfriend, and then wasn’t around. It’s very important to me as a dad to set a good example.”
“Long distance isn’t easy,” added Ferrell. “Also, there was, and still is, a spotlight on our relationship. I wasn’t used to having to handle that.”
Ferrell also admits that she is struggling with public scrutiny- something that pushed her to keep her distance from social media. “I actually deactivated my Twitter just so I wouldn’t have to deal with people hiding behind their computers, talking s-t. I feel like it’s the best decision not only for myself, but for my relationship,” she said.
Meanwhile, it looks like marriage is still not in the horizon for Galavis and Ferrell, who says “there isn’t a move planned” right now though things might change in the next months. “This isn’t just a relationship between Juan and me, there are people to consider on both sides,” she explained. “I wouldn’t move to Miami, though. I don’t look cute in all that humidity!”
“We are two completely different people, and when you come across that in a relationship, it’s a big adjustment. At the end of the day, we both want the same things: a loving relationship that lasts forever, and a happy family,” she added.
Andi and Josh
For the past several years, Dancing with the Stars served as the subsequent TV gig for some of the stars of The Bachelor/Bachelorette franchise but now it looks like Couple’s Therapy might just be their next TV destination. Following the casting of Ferrell and Galavis, it is now rumored that Bachelortte star Andi Dorfman and fiance Josh Murray are trying to score a gig on the next season of the VH1 series.
This rumor comes on the heels of yet another rumor about the Bachelorette couple. According to Celeb Dirty Laundry, Dorfman and Murray are on the rocks. “Nothing is going the way Andi planned right now. She is supposed to be planning her wedding with Bachelor producers but everything is on hold because she and Josh are taking a break,” the source claimed. “She quit her job and hired a manager, and the appearances aren’t rolling in like she thought they would. And, to top it off she has to wake up every day and wonder ‘Is Josh going to leave me today.'”
However, Dorfman was quick to deny the breakup rumor on Twitter. “Happy to report that the only thing splitting in my life these days are the ends of my hair #rumors #inlove,” she said, tagging Murray.
