Arrow Recap: Anatoly Returns to Wreak Havoc on Oliver’s Life>>>
“Anything interesting on the news last night?”
– Oliver greeting the reporters waiting for him after the Green Arrow photo on the news
“They could have put Bruce Wayne’s head on that body. Has Bruce Wayne left Gotham to hang out in Star City recently?”
“Gonna tell you two things, both of which you probably already know. First. This is important. I am not the Green Arrow. … Number two. photos can be doctored. They could have put Bruce Wayne’s head on that body. Has Bruce Wayne left Gotham to hang out in Star City recently? No. Now, if I was running around the city during the day and managing it as mayor while running around at night frightening criminals as a vigilante, that really would make me a superhero. But I’m not. I’m just the mayor.”
– Oliver to the reporters
“I didn’t have a photograph of you in flagrante de Arrow.”
Lance: “You seem to be taking this in your stride.”
Oliver: “I’ve been here before with you.”
Lance: “Yeah, but I didn’t have a photograph of you in flagrante de Arrow.”
“Yeah, because the FBI is world renowned for its sense of humor.”
Samanda: “I’m here as a courtesy to inform you of the investigation I’ll be conducting in your city.”
Oliver: “Investigation into what?”
Samanda: “You.”
Lance: “Oh, you’ve got to be kidding.”
Samanda: “Yeah, because the FBI is world renowned for its sense of humor.”
“What about the Human Target? … Best cosplayer ever.”
– Curtis, trying to come up with a solution for the photo of Oliver as the Green Arrow
“I’d definitely rather go to Iron Heights than work at Tech Village again. That place was horrendous.”
– Felicity to Curtis
Prometheus to Return for Arrow Season 6 — But Not in the Way You Expect>>>
“It’s sad, it’s scary, and it’s lonely, and I swear to God, I will never let that happen to you.”
William: “There’s a million psychos always trying to kill you.”
Oliver: “I can handle them.”
William: “What if you can’t? Then I’ll be alone. I’ll have nobody. You wouldn’t understand.”
Oliver: “I do understand. I lost my mom, and I lost my dad, and I was a lot older than you are now, but I remember exactly how it feels. It’s sad, it’s scary, and it’s lonely, and I swear to God, I will never let that happen to you.”
“I do not think you understand how this whole rescue thing works.”
– Anatoly to Oliver before realizing he shot his hostage with an arrow with the antidote
“If I really am the man that you think I am, how far do you think such a man would go to keep his son from being scrutinized by the FBI?”
– Oliver to Samanda
“It’s not arrogant if it is accurate.”
Curtis: “You know, I don’t want to sound arrogant, but we may very well be the smartest human beings on the planet.”
Felicity: “Oh, well, it’s not arrogant if it is accurate.”
– After they prove the photo of Oliver as the Green Arrow was doctored
“I promise that I will do my best every single day to be the very best father that I can be and that I know how to be. That promise is 100%.”
– Oliver to William
“Star City needs the Green Arrow. It just can’t be me anymore, so I’d like it to be you.”
Oliver: “I’d like you to do something for me.”
Diggle: “If it’s suit up as the Green Arrow, Felicity and I already talked about it, and we don’t think it’s enough to take the heat off of you.”
Oliver: “That’s not why I’m asking.”
Diggle: “You’re serious.”
Oliver: “Every time that I’m out there as the Green Arrow, I’m a target of the FBI, of the Bratva, of the threats that are out there and the threats that are undoubtedly coming, and on my own, I can take it. I’m not on my own anymore. I cannot be responsible for my son losing the only parent that he has left. Star City needs the Green Arrow. It just can’t be me anymore, so I’d like it to be you.”

If it’s on TV — especially if it’s a procedural or superhero show — chances are Meredith watches it. She has a love for all things fiction, starting from a young age with ER and The X-Files on the small screen and the Nancy Drew books. Arrow kicked off the Arrowverse and her true passion for all things heroes. She’s enjoyed getting into the minds of serial killers since Criminal Minds, so it should be no surprise that her latest obsession is Prodigal Son.
