The Riverdale season 2 premiere picked up right where last season left off, with Fred bleeding after being shot at Pop’s. But what really happened after that? It took Archie until nearly the end of the episode to tell his friends the truth, but while he was focused on protecting his father in case the shooter came back, the “Angel of Death,” as Pop described him, was busy elsewhere.
