Big Brother 15 has become all about the competitions. The alliances and deals are basically set in stone, so winning HoH or PoV is the only way to change the inevitable.

Aaryn nominated Helen and Elissa. Andy, Spencer and GinaMarie were also chosen to play. The competition was OTEV.
Elissa won the Power of Veto.
Wow, how is this woman who doesn’t even seem to want to be there able to win the PoV when she needs to?
This truly seals Helen’s fate. Odds are Elissa will save herself and Aaryn will once again use Spencer as a pawn, nominating him. They’ll tell Elissa and Helen that Spencer is the target, but really, Helen will get blindsided. Or she’ll figure it out like Jessie did, but there’s really nothing she can do about it. Aaryn, Andy and the others have already promised Spencer that he’s safe, though if I were Spencer, I’d be sick and tired of always being the pawn.
It’s going to be very awkward if Helen gets evicted, then wins the chance to come back into the game. Since Elissa is on her side and Helen made that Final 3 deal with Andy and McCrae, Helen SHOULD have the votes to stay, and when she leaves, it will reveal how people have been lying to her.
I suppose there’s a chance that Elissa is so utterly clueless that she may use the PoV on Helen, but I doubt it.
FUN FACTS
-Elissa is the first person this season to win two Power of Veto competitions.
-Elissa has now won as many PoV competitions as her sister, Rachel Reilly, did in both of her seasons combined. In fact, since Rachel’s first PoV came in a couples’ competition with Brendon, Elissa has actually won MORE individual PoVs than her sister.
-This is the sixth time this season that one of the nominees has won the Power of Veto. The record was set during All-Stars, when it happened nine times. It happened seven times in season 12 (assuming you count Matt Hoffman’s Diamond Power of Veto) and six times in season 13. Every other season had five or fewer times a nominee won the PoV.
-Spencer and Elissa are the king and queen of playing in the PoV this season, each having played in six out of nine competitions.
-McCrae is the biggest loser when it comes to PoV, having only played twice out of nine times. He also has terrible luck when it comes to being randomly chosen to play, as he’s only been picked once out of eight possible times. Everybody else in the house, except Aaryn, has been chosen at least twice.
-Spencer is also the comp king, having competed in 15 of the 18 HoH or PoV competitions this season. McCrae is the biggest loser in this category, having only played in 10 competitions.
-If Elissa saves herself, she will become only the 12th person in the history of this game to save herself from nomination with the PoV twice in a single season. That list includes no winners, but it does include runners-up Alison Irwin from season 4 and Memphis Garrett from season 10. During All-Stars, Janelle Pierzina set the record by saving herself four times. Here is the full list of people who have done it.
