For the first time in the show’s history, a simple quiz on Big Brother 16 to decide the HoHs was not finished on Thursday’s live episode. After 12 questions, Caleb, Zach, Donny, Hayden and Nicole were still in the hunt. Julie Chen cut to a commercial break and we learned the end wouldn’t be revealed until Sunday’s episode. Or right now.
SPOILER WARNING: This article contains Big Brother 16 spoilers.
Nicole and Donny are the HoHs!
Huzzah, two non-Bomb Squad members for the first time ever! This could be interesting. Frankie and Derrick were pushing hard for Donny to get backdoored this week because he declined the Team America mission, but I’m sure they’ll try to change their tunes now that Donny has power.
This now makes Nicole the second person to win two HoHs, and she’s the only remaining woman in the house to ever be HoH. Between HoH, PoV and BotB, Donny and Nicole now top the leaderboard with four wins each.
If they are willing to work together, they could do some real damage and finally stop putting up the same people (Jocasta and Victoria). I can’t wait to see how this plays out.
When the live feeds came back, Donny and Nicole already started talking, agreeing that Hayden is completely safe and they won’t backdoor each other. They both want to work closely with him on these nominations. They seem to want Caleb to be the target. Donny mentioned possibly putting Christine on the block while Nicole could put up Zach since he just nominated her (and Zach has told her it’s OK if she does). Donny keeps bringing up the fact that Derrick, Frankie and Cody are the only people who have never been nominated. They didn’t say a lot of names, but I think they both WANT Frankie as a target, but neither wants to do it.
And Frankie, of course, already spoke to Nicole about how she needs to stay HoH. All of the Bomb Squad members are naturally telling her to put up Jocasta and Victoria so she’ll stay HoH since those two would lose the Battle of the Block. I hope she’s not that weak.
UPDATE: After a night of talking to everyone, and after Donny, Nicole and Hayden met up in the HoH room, it looks like Nicole will put up Zach and Jocasta while Donny will put up Caleb and Victoria. And if Nicole stays HoH, she’s strongly considering trying to backdoor Frankie, while Donny’s top target would be Caleb.
