When it’s down to the Final 4 on Big Brother 16, the Power of Veto is all that matters. After Frankie’s eviction, Derrick won HoH, ensuring his spot in the Final 3 and guaranteeing that he will make it there without ever being nominated. But who won the final Power of Veto and what will they do?

SPOILER WARNING: This article contains Big Brother 16 spoilers.

Derrick nominated Caleb and Victoria.

Cody won the Power of Veto!

Well, it looks like the Hitmen dominated the endgame and now Cody has all of the power. Will he take out Caleb, making it easier for the Hitmen to win the final HoH, or will he stick with the boys and evict Victoria? The plan over the past few days has been to evict Caleb and drag Victoria to the end, so that’s what I assume will happen.

At that point, it could get interesting. I assume Victoria won’t win the final HoH, but would Cody or Derrick dare to cut each other, thinking that sitting next to Victoria is an easier win? We know that this would be Cody’s only chance to win, but is he smart enough and brave enough to cut his best friend? Or will he pull a Woo from the most recent season of Survivor, a reference the HGs have talked about a lot in the past few days, and choose to go against the cop, only to lose in the final vote?

FUN FACTS

-This is the first season ever where two of the HGs in the Final 4 didn’t win a single Power of Veto.

-Derrick and Caleb both join a list of only seven other people who finished in the Final 4 without ever winning a PoV competition: season 4’s Erika, season 7’s Dr. Will, season 9’s Sheila, season 11’s Natalie, season 12’s Lane, season 13’s Jordan and season 15’s GinaMarie. Of those, Erika, Will and Jordan finished fourth, Sheila finished third and the other three finished second, meaning no one has ever won the game without winning at least one PoV. If Derrick or Caleb win the game, they will be the first person to ever do it without winning a PoV competition.

-Cody is the 14th person to win three PoVs in a single season. None of them won the game and season 8’s Daniele Donato and season 10’s Memphis Garrett are the only ones who reached the Final 2.

-Cody is now the 16th person to win five HoH or PoV comps in a single season.

-This is the first season ever where three different people each won three PoVs (Cody, Donny and Frankie).

-Cody is the 19th person to win two consecutive PoV competitions. Donny and Frankie also did it this season.

-This will be the fourth time in a row the PoV has not been used. That has only happened three other times, in seasons 3, 4 and 10. This will also be the sixth time the PoV has not been used, something that also only happened in seasons 3, 4 and 10.

-This is the sixth time the PoV has been won by someone other than the HoH or one of the nominees. That ties the record for the most times this has ever happened in a season.

-Victoria has now been nominated nine times, tying the all-time record held by season 15’s Spencer Clawson. If she makes it to the Final 3 and doesn’t win the last HoH, that will technically be her 10th nomination, setting a new record.

-This is Victoria’s fifth consecutive nomination, tying the all-time record held by season 9’s Sharon and season 15’s Spencer. If she makes it to the Final 3 and loses the last HoH, that will make six nominations in a row, a new record.

-This is Caleb’s fifth nomination. He is only the 18th person to be nominated that many times, a list that includes Victoria, Donny and Nicole from this season.

-By winning the Final 4 HoH, Derrick will officially make it to the Final 3 without ever being nominated. Only two other people have ever done this, Danielle Reyes and Jason Guy in season 3.

-If Derrick wins the final HoH, he will become the first HG ever to make it to the end without ever being nominated. He will also tie the record set by season 4’s Allison Irwin and season 5 winner Drew Daniel of reaching the end without ever facing an eviction vote.

-If Derrick loses the final HoH, it will mark the first and only time he’s faced a possible eviction. Besides the aforementioned Danielle and Jason, there are only three other people who never faced a possible eviction until the Final 3: Janelle Pierzina on All-Stars, season 11’s Kevin Campbell and season 14’s Dan Gheesling.

-This week marks the seventh time in a row a man has won HoH, with Derrick, Caleb, Cody and Frankie. It has only happened one other time, in season 14 thanks to Frank, Shane, Ian and Dan. If a man also wins the final HoH, it will mark the first time ever that men won eight HoHs in a row.

-Victoria has now played in 26 HoH and PoV competitions, the most ever. She has lost 25 of them, which is also more than anyone else has ever even played in. She has also played in 15 HoHs, the most ever for a single season.

-Caleb has played in 12 PoV competitions, the most ever. He lost every single one of them.

-There are only five people who finished in the Final 4 without ever winning an HoH competition: season 5’s Cowboy, season 8’s Jameka, season 10’s Memphis, season 12’s Enzo and Dr. Will Kirby, who did it both times he played the game. If Victoria stays and doesn’t win the final HoH, she will join that list. Of those, Jameka and season 7’s Will finished fourth, Enzo finished third, Cowboy and Memphis finished second and season 2’s Will won the game.
