This is Ramses Soto, a 21-year-old cosplay artist from Grand Rapids, Michigan..
His Backstory
Ramses is the youngest HG this season, a fun-loving superfan who creates his own costumes for cosplay. He spent the first 10 years of his life in the Dominican Republic and he recently came out as gay. He’s a huge fan of Dan Gheesling.
His Strategy
In his CBS bio, Ramses offers a very detailed strategy. He wants to rely on his social game and let his fun personality disguise his game moves. He also wants to have one true ally on the other side of the house one one ally on his own side, the second-strongest physical player.
Other Fun Facts
He has a kangaroo onesie that he’s going to take into the house.
His Chances
The nerdy superfan usually does very well on this show, though that may be Cameron instead of Ramses. The big problems are that he’s both gay and a minority. There has only been one openly gay winner (season 15’s Andy Herren) and one non-white winner (season 4’s Jun Song), so the statistical odds are against him. And being the youngest person in a house that’s older than most may make it hard for him to relate to others.
Big Brother 19 premieres Wednesday, June 28 at 8/7c on CBS.
