Even Brothers and Sisters is making Valentine’s Day last for more than 24 hours. On tonight’s episode, past romances make an appearance while present romances think up presents. It’s a Sarah-centric story, so you may already know what this is about.
“A Valued Family” finds the Walkers gathered at an art exhibit. Sarah (Rachel Griffiths) gets quite a surprise as she looks through the paintings. It’s not the art that will move her though; it’s the identity of the artist.
Luc Laurent (guest star Gilles Marini) returns to rekindle flames with Sarah, but it’s not going to be easy. While he was out of the picture, she already embarked on a new romance with Roy (Jay Karnes).
The couple seems happy enough, building a safe relationship with one another. But that won’t last for long since Luc is intent on showing how he still feels for Sarah. It’s going to take a lot to rebuild that passion of theirs.
Meanwhile, with love comes politics. Kitty (Calista Flockhart) makes her grand entrance into the arena, showing her sincere interest in the position. She obviously wants this for herself, but it would be better if she had some support.
The Walkers can’t seem to fully accept her decision though. It’s up to her new campaign manager, her best friend Buffy (guest star Cheryl Hines).
All isn’t well with the rest of the family either. Justin (Dave Annable) and Rebecca (Emily Vancamp) continue to struggle with the idea of being parents, while Holly is put on the spot. She has to make a big decision regarding her shares of Ojai, and she can’t seem to just make up her mind.
The trailer below revolves around the art gallery, wherein Luc gets his first peek of Sarah since he left. With Gilles Marini around, Brothers and Sisters is certainly getting better.
Could there still be hope for Luc? We do know the actor’s in negotiations to become a series regular, so that calms us down a bit. Catch “A Valued Family” as Brothers and Sisters airs tonight at 10pm on ABC.
