The Buddy Battles are finally over and after several brutal battles we can finally crown our winner. Congratulations Castle on your victory! It turns out the crew from Castle is your all-time favorite Scooby Gang.
Castle had some stiff competition to become our favorite Scooby gang, including beating out the original Scooby gang from Scooby Doo. Although there was a bit of a struggle when the gang went up against the crime-fighters from Bones, the New York precinct ultimately came out on top.
Castle‘s last battle against Buffy the Vampire Slayer began neck-and-neck, but soon Castle ran away with the lead to become our all-time favorite gang.

To celebrate Castle‘s win as BuddyTV’s ultimate Scooby gang, here are just a few reasons we love the gang from Castle:
Reason #1: They Embrace the Awesome
The Castle Scooby gang gets to solve a lot of cool cases, and Castle himself is never above fanboying over a particularly cool assignment.
Reason #2: They’re Not Afraid to be Tough
You definitely don’t want to mess with the Castle gang, especially tough-as-nails Kate Beckett. She will flip your table and bring you down.
Reason #3: Ryan and Esposito’s Bromance
In terms of epic bromances, Ryan and Esposito’s man-love is second-to-none.
Reason #4: They’ll Always Go Undercover
They will bravely go where no Elvis impersonator has gone before.
Reason #5: Castle’s Theories
One of the hallmarks of a great Scooby gang is the ability to come up with wild supernatural theories which ultimately prove to be incorrect. On Scooby Doo, it was always a guy in a sheet instead of a ghost. On Castle, Richard’s tall tales almost always end up as more than meets the eye. One day it’ll be zombies though. One day…
Reason #6: They’ll do Whatever it Takes to Solve the Case
No matter what it takes to get the job done, the Castle gang will bravely put their own well-being aside.
Reason #7: They Work Great as a Team
Castle, Beckett, Ryan, Esposito, Lanie, and even Gates all work great together as a team. When it comes to teamwork, the gang from Castle is hard to beat.
Reason #8: Castle and Beckett’s Romance
Of course, one of the things that has kept viewers tuning into Castle all these years is the relationship between Kate Beckett and Richard Castle. Instead of drawing out the will-they-won’t-they forever, the show committed to their relationship (and their upcoming marriage), making “Caskett” one of the cutest crime-fighting couples on television.
What do you think? Are you glad Castle won the Buddy Battles or were you rooting for another team? Why do you love the Castle team? Share in the comments!
