The Voice Gets Coaches
NBC’s new singing competition series The Voice has founds two of its voices. The show, in which four musical mentors shepherd contestants through the competition after selecting them based only on their voices and not on their looks, has tapped “F*** You” singer Cee Lo Green and Maroon 5’s Adam Levine. The show will premiere Tuesday, April 26 at 9pm on NBC.
Matthew Morrison’s “Summer Rain”
Glee star Matthew Morrison is branching out on his own with his first single, “Summer Rain.” I dare you to make it through the entire song without convulsing in laughter. Sir Elton to Host SNL
Elton John is coming to Saturday Night Live, but just not to sing. John will serve as host on the April 2 episode. In addition, Zach Galifianakis will make his second appearance as host on March 12.
Showtime Renewals
Show has renewed its two newest shows, the William H. Macy drama Shameless and the Matt LeBlanc comedy Episodes for second seasons. Shameless will get a 12-episode season 2 while it is still unknown how long the second season of Episodes will run.
