According to People Magazine, the former boy-bander, Lance Bass, and The Amazing Race contestant, Reichen Lekmuhl are officially over. News of a break first surfaced back in December 2006, but the two continued to try to make it work. On Monday, Bass confirmed to the magazine that the two “broke up last week.”
Bass was outed in 2006 when his relationship with Lekmuhl, winner of Season Four of The Amazing Race, became public. Lekmuhl had already been openly gay, and had competed on The Amazing Race with his then-partner Chip Arndt.
Bass tells People that the two remain friends, and that he has “nothing bad at all to say” about the relationship.
