CBS, the most stable network on TV, announced its 2014-2015 schedule on Wednesday and it features some rather big changes. Due to the arrival of Thursday Night Football, The Big Bang Theory will return to Mondays briefly in an attempt to rebuild the night.

The Monday night comedy block will be cut in half as new drama Scorpion takes over at 9pm. It will be joined by NCIS: Los Angeles, moving to Mondays at 10pm, making room for the newest spin-off, NCIS: New Orleans, on Tuesdays at 9pm.

The Amazing Race, a longtime staple of Sunday nights, will move to Fridays at 8pm while CSI moves to Sundays at 10pm.
Thursday Night Football will run through the end of October, at which point CBS’ schedule will return to normal with two hours of comedy and Elementary. The upcoming 12th season of Two and a Half Men will be its last. Also at that time, when The Big Bang Theory returns to Thursdays, 2 Broke Girls will take over Mondays at 8pm.

The fall season brings four new dramas and one new comedy. CSI: Cyber will take over for the original Sundays at 10pm in the spring. Other new mid-season shows include Breaking Bad creator Vince Gilligan’s Battle Creek and Matthew Perry’s The Odd Couple remake, along with returning favorites Mike and Molly and The Mentalist.
