CBS’ all-new schedule for Fall 2016 is bringing the comedy back to Monday night TV. Meanwhile, NCIS fans who are missing Michael Weatherly can still catch him on Tuesdays immediately after NCIS on his new drama Bull. Bull will be replacing the time-slot where NCIS: LA once was, which will move to Sunday night. Additionally, a new Joel McHale comedy has won the highly-coveted time slot following The Big Bang Theory and Saturday nights will be “Crimetime Saturday,” which will air encores of CBS drama series.

In regards with the new Matt LeBlanc (Friends) CBS comedy Man With a Plan, the pilot will feature another sitcom veteran, Jenna Fischer (The Office). However, Fischer will likely not be in the rest of the show, as the network explores replacements with “more chemistry.” “She is a phenomenal actress,” CBS President Glenn Geller says. “It just wasn’t the right actress for the right role, ultimately, when we saw the pilot.”
While Friday nights once premiered new episodes of The Amazing Race, Fall 2016 will have it being temporarily replaced by MacGyver. The reality competition series is still TBD on its time slot, which won’t even arrive until mid-season. In additional mid-season news, Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders and Undercover Boss are slated to arrive at that same time, and new series Training Day and Doubt will also premiere.
Fans of the sophomore drama Limitless will have to keep waiting it out for news on the series’ anticipated (and uncertain) return. “Right now, we’re in discussion with other potential buyers,” Geller says.
