CBS is easily the most stable network on television, and that is proven by its Fall 2017 schedule. The vast majority of the schedule remains the same, with six new shows filling in the gaps. The line-ups for Tuesday and Friday night remain identical to what they were last Fall.

As usual, the schedule for Monday will be in flux due to Thursday Night Football. For the first half of the Fall, The Big Bang Theory will lead into a night that features two new sitcoms, but once football ends, The Big Bang Theory heads to Thursdays where it will lead into its own spin-off, Young Sheldon. Young Sheldon will also get a one-night special premiere following The Big Bang Theory on Monday, September 25.
