In the 11th episode of the fourth season, the BAU team must head to Southern California to search for a normal man turned serial killer dubbed as “The Road Warrior,” who is suspected of killing luxury car owners while they are driving on freeways. The stakes are raised even higher when the team is put in a race-against-time situation to find the killer before he kills his entire family.
Hendrix, who guest stars as Judy Hannity, hints on what’s in store for her character.
“I’m not sure what I’m allowed to say or not but I will say this: I have a heavy character who, unlike so many of my other characters, is more of a victim,” Hendrix said. “Though part of the torment for my character is: Am I really [a victim]? The plot is very trippy.”
As for Pileggi’s character, Norman Hill, he is said to be “a man having an extremely difficult time with loss in his life.
“Normal” also marks the return of J.J. Jareau (AJ Cook), who pays the BAU a visit with her own newborn in tow.
The Criminal Minds actress reportedly taped the special scene not very long after giving birth to her son Mekhai Allan Andersen on September 13. She looked “absolutely fabulous” as a new mom, according to a source.
Criminal Minds airs tonight at 9pm ET/PT on CBS.
