Criminal Minds is set to return for its fourth season this fall on September 24, 8pm on CBS. If we’d go back, season 3 saw David Rossi taking over for Jason Gideon, who, meanwhile, left the BAU after his friend Sarah was found to have been murdered by a serial killer. As a result, the team is now lead by Special Agent Aaron Hotchner.
As it returns for another heavily anticipated season, E! Online reports that Criminal Minds fan should “continue to expect a serious injury, rather than an injury, rather than an outright death, as a result of the SUV explosion.” Read on if you want to get more spoilers.
A source said, “we know the fans love all our characters equally and because of that, they have some job security.” This virtually dispelled rumors that someone’s going to die a horrible death on the street.
On the other hand, A.J. Cook is set to give birth shortly. A s a twist, her character will be “having the baby in nearly real time. ”Yes, in other words, A.J. and J.J. will be giving birth all but simultaneously on TV and in real life. Once she goes on maternity leave, however, what happens to the liaison post she vacates?
E! Online similarly reports that there will be a new liaison on the team once this happens. Meta Golding, who made appearances on House, CSI, Jag, Cold Case, and Allly McBeal, among others, is signing in for the gig. Don’t worry, though, as Golding is just filling in.
Criminal Minds is, well, a crime show that features a team of profilers from the FBI’s Behavioral Analysis Unit in Virginia. It stars Thomas Gibson, Joe Mantegna, Shemar Moore, and Matthew Gray Gubler, among others.
