The Dancing with the Stars season 21 finale is here. It’s sure to be a big finale with four hours over two nights as one of the four remaining couples will win the Mirror Ball Trophy.
The finale will feature three rounds of competition, including Judges’ Choice, Freestyles and the 24-Hour Fusion Challenge, as well as countless performances from singers and returning cast members.
The Competition
The Final 4 take the floor Monday night with two new routines each. In the first round, the judges will help choose the creative elements for the couples as they redo a dance style they’ve already performed to a new song. Carrie Ann Inaba will help out with Alek Skarlatos and Bindi Irwin, Julianne Hough will advise Nick Carter and Bruno Tonioli will take on Carlos PenaVega. The second round will be the Freestyles, and at the end of the night, one couple will be eliminated.
On Tuesday’s finale at 9pm, the three remaining couples will get one last chance to earn judges’ points with the 24-hour fusion challenge, where they must combine two styles in a new routine.
Special Guest Performance
Since it’s finale week on Dancing with the Stars, there will be plenty of special musical guests and returning dancers. On Monday’s show, Meghan Trainor, Who Is Fancy and Ariana Grande will all perform.
The finale on Tuesday will include an outdoor dance performance at the Grove and musical performances by Alexander Jean and several of this season’s cast members, including Chaka Khan, Nick Carter and Andy Grammer. Kim Zolciak will return with partner Tony Dovolani to perform the “I Dream of Jeannie” routine she never got to do because of her health issues that led to her forced withdrawal.
The Dancing with the Stars season 21 finale kicks off Monday, November 23 at 8pm anhd concludes Tuesday, November 24 at 9pm on ABC.
