The Dancing with the Stars season 22 cast won’t be revealed until Tuesday March 8 on Good Morning America, but that doesn’t mean some news won’t leak out a little early. Two athletes have made some slightly suspicious moves on social media recently that could suggest they will be a part of the competition.
According to PureDWTS, NFL star Antonio Brown and UFC fighter Paige VanZant bot started recently following the official DWTS account on Twitter. VanZant has since unfollowed, though she and her manager have made vague hints about a big announcement that may keep her away from fighting for several months.

Brown, however, is following both DWTS and pro Sharna Burgess on Twitter. The pro, who has finished in the top three for each of the last two seasons, previously competed with NFL star Keyshawn Johnson, and football players are very popular with the show as 13 have competed over the first 21 seasons.
Antonio Brown is currently a wide receiver with the Pittsburgh Steelers and is known for his energetic end zone dances. In November he got a lot of attention for an impressive and athletic front flip into the end zone, sticking the landing perfectly. If he is going to be on DWTS, Sharna could do a lot worse than a charismatic, showboating NFL player with incredibly agility.
Though VanZant is a UFC fighter, the 21-year-old is more than muscles. Her parents owned a dance studio and she spent 13 years studying jazz, ballet and hip-hop, which could definitely make her a strong competitor on DWTS.

Of course following DWTS or a pro partner on Twitter isn’t confirmation that Brown and VanZant will compete on Dancing with the Stars season 22, but it’s entirely possible and they certainly fit the mold of potential contestants.
Find out who will be competing for the Mirror Ball when the cast is revealed Tuesday, March 8 on Good Morning America. Dancing with the Stars season 22 premieres Monday, March 21 at 8pm on ABC.
