Dancing with the Stars season 25 is about to begin, and once again the stars will have several different theme nights to contend with. We already know that Disney Night will return, as will Latin Night and the Trio dances. The couples will also have Guilty Pleasures Night, exposing their secret shames.
But in a TV Guide interview with executive producer Ashley Edens-Shaffer, a new theme night was proposed. She revealed that they are potentially going to have an Iconic Dances Night, where the couples recreate or re-imagine memorable routines from the history of Dancing with the Stars. After 24 seasons, there are definitely a lot to consider. But I think we’d all want to see Nick Lachey try to fill his brother Drew’s cowboy boots with his “Save a Horse (Ride a Cowboy)” Freestyle.

The inclusion of Disney Night for season 25 is also a tad confusing. This will be the fifth time DWTS has celebrated the films of Disney, but it’s always been saved for the Spring season, never the Fall. We just had a Disney Night last season and they’re starting to run out of films and songs to use,
What do you think about the theme nights for Dancing with the Stars season 25 and would you like to see recreations of past routines? DWTS premieres Monday, September 18 at 8/7c on ABC.
