Halloween makes for some scary dancing. And I’m not just talking about the costumes, zombified band or mood lighting. Week 7 created a terrifying performance night for all of the competitors on Dancing with the Stars season 13 — the night’s many shaky performances mean almost everyone could be in danger.
But who is in the most danger? We make our predictions here.
Most Likely to Go
Nancy Grace (total score = 44)
You can blame the song choice if you want (“The Devil Went Down to Georgia” for a jive? Seriously?), but Nancy definitely did not deliver in her week 7 dance. She looked lost throughout much of the performance, and the scores reflected it.
Hope Solo (total score = 50)
The judges were much happier with Hope this week, and the scores reflected that. But will fans be able to move past all of the fighting and negativity with Maks and Hope? Combine that with Hope’s difficulty in connecting to an audience, and she should worry.
Most Deserving of Elimination
Nancy Grace
Although Nancy has brought in some solid performances throughout the competition, she’s still somewhat inconsistent and has the lowest overall points total. With this week’s painfully bad jive, Nancy’s DWTS time is most likely up.
Should Be Worried
David Arquette (total score = 47)
His combined score wasn’t great. He performed early in the show. The dance was not memorable. Can David’s obvious improvement and general appeal keep him around for another week? It’s likely — but far from certain.
J.R. Martinez (total score = 48)
J.R. can give us a disappointing performance? Who knew? Alas, the tango is obviously not J.R. Martinez’s dance. In both the individual and group dances, J.R.’s performances were a bit off. Not terrible, just off. Will that be enough to send him home? Probably not, but there’s always a worry.
Rob Kardashian (total score = 51)
Rob should be safe, but it’s late enough in the game that no one is totally safe. Still, his Addams Family tango was fun and well-danced. Plus, he was on the right team for the group number.
Probably Safe… For Now
Ricki Lake (total score = 53)
Despite an injury that sounded super painful, Ricki danced with an ease and elegance not seen elsewhere on the Halloween DWTS dance floor. Even without the group dance, Ricki took the night and has solidified her comeback from ’80s week.
