Following the footsteps of Angela Shelton, Daniel Baldwin was the second contestant to be evicted from I‘m a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here. He was an unusual addition to the cast, being hauled in to the jungles of Costa Rica with Holly Montag, in order to replace Spencer and Heidi Pratt for their withdrawal from the competition.
Last Thursday, the brother of fellow actor Stephen Baldwin was voted out of the show, where he competed for his mother’s breast cancer charity: The Carol M. Baldwin Breast Cancer Research Fund. Before he left, however, he made sure his parting words were memorable. Well, sort of.
“Coming home babe,” Daniel Baldwin announced. He was referring to his wife, Joanne, who is currently pregnant. “See you guys,” he added.
Even though he said goodbye to I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here, it looks like the rest of the cast isn’t ready to let him go. As Daniel Baldwin accepted his defeat, he was pulled back by The Hills star Holly Montag into a hug. Knowing that he was fighting for a great cause, she and the rest of the contestants agreed on one thing: they would help out Baldwin’s chosen charity.
“Whatever we can do for your mom’s organization,” Holly told Daniel Baldwin before he headed out. “Great cause.”
Meanwhile, the rest of the episode was a complaint about the bugs and how the celebs are sacrificing their skins for charity. Torrie Wilson revealed during the confessional that all of them have been getting bitten more constantly over the past weeks. The solution presented to them was to put incense stickers on themselves.
On the latest episode, the batch of campfire stories revolved around the celebrities’ big breaks in the business. They later discuss what their favorite Costa Rica moment is so far, which ranges from Lou’s bad jokes to Patti and Torrie’s moments together. There’s definitely a lot more to come when I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here returns tonight on NBC.
