Previously on Days of our Lives, Hope (Kristian Alfonso) told Philip (Jay Kenneth Johnson) to stop interfering in Shawn’s marriage (Brandon Beemer), but backed off when Philip challenged her to tell Shawn about what she knew. Bo (Peter Reckell) questioned Kate (Lauren Koslow) about the package in Lucas possession, but she feigned ignorance. However, things turned around for Bo when he received a call telling him the package had been located.
Meanwhile, Sami (Alison Sweeney) confronted EJ (James Scott) about the planted baby monitor, and when she found the transmitter under his couch, she stormed out. However, EJ has been preoccupied with other things, particularly with attempting to open Lucas’ (Bryan Dattilo) package, which he got under false pretenses. When he locked the door after Sami left, he was able to open the package, laughing wickedly at the same time.

Thanks to Kate, Lucas finds out that EJ has his package. Sami is shocked when she finds out that inside the package is a gun. Lucas confesses that he was at the church at the time of the wedding, but swears that he was not the one who shot EJ. However, he later tells Kate that he plans on pleading guilty. Kate responds by urging him to flee the country. A desperate Lucas later asks Billie (Julie Pinson) to take care of his daughter if anything should happen to him.
Sami goes back to EJ and confronts him about eavesdropping with the baby monitor. They fight, with Sami telling EJ that she’s leaving him. EJ fight back by saying that Sami likes having two men fighting for her affections.
Meanwhile, Shawn informs Bo about Philip and Belle’s (Martha Madison) scheme, and later warns Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin) about Philip’s intentions. Philip talks to Belle about Shawn, and she ends up feeling jealous when she learns of Philip’s date with Chloe.
While clearing out John’s (Drake Hogestyn) closet, Marlena (Deidre Hall) and Hope find a mysterious photo, which Marlena later shows to Roman (Josh Taylor). In the photo is a woman whom Marlena asks Roman to track down. Meanwhile, Stefano (Joseph Mascolo) does some searching of his own when he tells a South American politician to go after his archrival, who happens to be a woman.
As for Stephanie (Shelley Hennig), she finds out that Cordy (Christina Stacy) is missing, but later discovers her at the ladies room in Chez Rouge. She tells Cordy that Ford (Matthew Florida) raped her, but can’t seem to find the courage to tell Max (Darin Brooks).
