There seems to be no shortage of rumors when it comes to Jordan Rodgers. The 27-year-old former pro quarterback from Chico, CA is now being accused of joining The Bachelorette for fame and possibly to become the next Bachelor star.

According to Us Weekly, falling in love with JoJo Fletcher was not on Jordan’s agenda. But after he was cut by the Miami Dolphins in 2014, the brother of Green Bay Packers player Aaron Rodgers continued to aspire to be in the limelight. He even appeared in the film Pitch Perfect 2 in 2015.
“He knew football wasn’t going to work out,” a source told Us Weekly, “and he wants to be famous desperately.”
“Originally, Jordan wanted to go on The Bachelorette to become the Bachelor,” added the source. “That was his goal.”
Jordan reportedly had an acquaintance who worked on the ABC reality dating series which made it easier for him to get cast on the show. “He plotted this,” the source claimed. “When they were casting him, they thought he was there for the right reasons.”
When filming began, however, Jordan had a change of heart. “In the beginning, yes, Jordan went on the show for his career,” a source close to Jordan said. “But then it 100 percent switched. He was really into JoJo. He definitely fell in love with her.”
JoJo, on the other hand, is second guessing Jordan’s intentions.
“JoJo feels like Jordan is out of her league, for some reason,” the show insider said. “Even though he says he’s falling for her, JoJo is concerned that he’s not as into her as she is into him.”
The Bachelorette returns July 11 at 8pm on ABC.
