Finally, news of some Little J action in Gossip Girl’s third season! Judging from Jenny’s marked absence in the first three episodes thus far this fall, I was beginning to dread that Jenny (Taylor Momsen) had been demoted to a guest star herself.
But no, and thank goodness! Reports have surfaced that later this season our new Queen will be getting some trouble from guest star Kevin Zegers, set to play “international bad-boy” Damien, and Jenny’s love interest in a multi-episode arc.
Besides his rather eerie resemblance to that other star of a quite different High School series, Zegers has previously starred with Felicia Huffman in TransAmerica, and should look familiar to children of the 90’s as dog’s best friend in the Air Bud movie series.
Zegers is also set to begin production on The Story of Bonnie and Clyde shortly, with fellow Gossip Girl guester Hilary Duff playing the Bonnie to his Clyde. Maybe she helped get him this job?
Zegers will begin shooting Gossip Girl later this week.
