With that being said, here’s what you need to know about “90 Day: The Single Life,” including its characters, notable moments, and more.
Where Can You Watch “90 Day: The Single Life”?
Unfortunately, unlike other spin-offs of “90 Day Fiance,” “90 Day: The Single Life” isn’t available on TLC proper. The show is a Discovery+ exclusive and you’ll need to sign up for Discovery+ to watch the episodes. Alternatively, you can watch the show on fuboTV.
What Is “90 Day: The Single Life” About?

TLC gets up close on the exciting — and not so exciting — moments of the love adventures of these singles.
Who Are the Singles in Season 1 of “90 Day: The Single Life”?
Season one has 14 episodes and features “90 Day Fiance” alums like Ed Brown, Colt Johnson, Danielle Mullins, Molly Hopkins, Fernanda Flores, and Brittany Banks, who are all on the quest to find love again.
Here’s a little info about the cast of season one:
Ed Brown:
Ed Brown, aka Big Ed, was previously married to Sandra Heckman and the couple has a daughter named Tiffany. The marriage lasted two years; Ed’s unfaithfulness was among the several events that led to their divorce. Ed is ready to put his failed marriage behind him as he seeks to fall in love again.
Colt Johnson:
“90 Day Fiance” alum Colt had been married to Larissa, a marriage that didn’t work because Larissa and Colt’s mom Debbie couldn’t get along. Then came Jess Caroline, whom Debbie also didn’t get along with (in fact, Debbie seems to have a problem with all of Colt’s exes). Now single, Colt seeks to put his past behind him and find love again.
Danielle Mullins:
It’s been three years since Danielle got divorced from her Tunisian ex-husband Mohamed. Even though she has struggled with dating, she’s finally ready to put her past behind her and find love again.
Molly Hopkins:
Molly is a successful and independent woman. However, her marriage to Luis, her Dominican ex-husband, didn’t work. She’s hoping to find a man who will love and respect her.
Fernanda Flores:
Fernanda recently discovered that her ex-husband Jonathan is now with another woman and has moved to Chicago with her. She’s determined to get over him and move on with her life.
Brittany Banks:
Brittany made her debut in season two of “90 Day Fiance: The Other Way” while she was with Jordanian ex-boyfriend Yazan. The relationship has since failed and Brittany has several eyes wandering in her direction once again.
Most Notable Season 1 Moments
There were several high moments in season one, but here’s the gist on a few of them:
Big Ed manscapes with mom:
In episode four, Ed prepares for his first date with Liz, his new love interest. Trying to look sharp, Ed decides to let go of his body hair. Rather than visit a store for beauty brushes, Ed decides to use a paintbrush and roller to rub Nair on his body. Silly, right? We thought so, too. However, the real awkwardness starts when his mom walks in and joins the scene, helping Ed hold his ponytail so he can reach his back.
Danielle’s disappointing date:
In episode four, Danielle goes on a blind date that her friend set up for her. The date is far from pleasant, as both parties struggled to connect.
Big Ed gets a kiss:
In episode eight, Big Ed attends a wedding with his new love interest, Liz, and they have alone time during the party. Big Ed sets the mood by ordering chocolate cake, strawberries, and a bottle of Champagne. Soon after, Ed asks Liz if he can kiss her, a gesture to which Liz happily accepts. Ed kisses Liz and professes his love for her afterward.
Is Kelly a cheat?
Episode eight wasn’t all about Ed’s dream kiss, as there’s a possibility that Kelly might have had an affair while he dated Molly. Following a conversation with Kelly about an ex of his, Molly snoops around the woman’s social media handle and finds something shocking: The woman has a daughter who looks to be about 8 years old, bears a striking resemblance to Kelly, and was born about the time when Kelly was with Molly. All the clues seem to suggest that there is something fishy going on, or maybe it’s just sheer coincidence.
Fernanda’s romantic yacht date goes south:
In episode seven, Robbie takes Fernanda out on what is supposed to be a romantic yacht date. However, tempers flare when Fernanda touches on the fact that Robbie doesn’t reach out during the week and she isn’t sure who she is to him. In response, Robbie gets defensive and the date turns out differently from what was planned.
Who Are the Singles in Season 2 of “90 Day: The Single Life”?
Season two focuses on seven “90 Days” alums, with Big Ed being the only returning cast member from season one. Here’s a highlight of the alums featured in season two.
Ed Brown:
The decision to feature Ed in the second season came with a lot of backlash after he was accused of sexual assault by a woman on TikTok. Backlash or not, Ed made season two, and he seems to have found the love of his life in Elizabeth Woods. If there is a third season, Big Ed Brown will likely not feature since he’s now engaged to Liz.
Syngin Colchester:
Fresh from a failed marriage with Tania Maduro, Syngin is set to start life over again. However, the reality TV star has been the subject of some serious sexual assault and abuse allegations lately. One allegation comes from an anonymous woman he may have dated after parting ways with Tania. More recently, some leaked messages allegedly exchanged between Tania and Syngin’s ex-lover seem to suggest that Tania confirmed Syngin’s abusive behavior. Fans of the show have begun signing a petition that calls on TLC to address the abuse allegations.
Natalie Mordovtseva:
In her first appearance in “90 Day Fiance,” the Ukrainian had a tumultuous relationship with Mike Youngquist. Natalie soon separated from Mike and is now single and ready to mingle.
Stephanie Matto:
Stephanie made her first appearance while she was with Erika Owens. She’s one of the first same-sex couples in the “90 Day Fiance” franchise. Stephanie is finally looking to end her celibacy if the right man or woman comes along.
Jesse Meester:
Jesse was with Darcey Silva when he made his first appearance in “90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days.” Five years later, he now lives and works in Russia. He meets Jeniffer Tarazona online and is willing to give up his dream life in Russia to make things work with Jeniffer.
Jeniffer Tarazona:
The Columbia native made her debut in “90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days” season three while dating Tim Malcolm. Jesse is interested in her and is willing to travel down to meet her, but she has a secret relationship with someone locally. Now, she has to decide which man she wants to settle for.
Debbie Johnson:
Colt is no longer on the show, having gotten married to Vanessa in season one, but his mom Debbie is. Widowed for 13 years, 69-year-old Debbie is out there hoping to find love again, but she will soon find out that dating in the 21st century is a different world from the one she’s used to.
Most Notable Season 2 Moments
So far, “The Single Life” season two has been full of drama — nothing short of what we saw in season one. The season is still ongoing but there have already been some notable moments, with more likely to come as the season approaches its finale.
Colt suspects his mom Debbie might be getting catfished:
Episode nine captures a moment when Colt Johnson, his mom Debbie, and her friend Audrey are on a drive to San Diego to meet Debbie’s date, Bill. Colt asks how many times his mom has chatted with her date. From her response, Debbie and Bill have chatted every other day, although they’ve never done FaceTime. Is Bill the real deal, or is Debbie being catfished? Time will tell.
Jeniffer slaps Jesse Meester:
In episode eight, Jeniffer Tarazona and Jesse Meester argue about the kind of pictures they post on social media. Jesse makes a comment that Jennifer considers disrespectful and gets a slap in the face. How does Jesse react to this? Jesse keeps his calm and thinks Jeniffer misunderstood his question.
Big Ed and Liz defend their engagement:
In episode 12 (“Tell All Part 1”), Debbie and some of her “The Single Life” co-stars accuse Ed of being desperate. Others try to warn Liz against marrying Ed.
Will There Be a Season 3 of “90 Day: The Single Life”?
There’s no news yet on whether “90 Day: The Single Life” will be renewed for a third season. Looking back, there was no announcement of a second season until the end of season one. Since season two is still on, then, it’s safe to say that there is a 50-50 chance the show might renew for a third season.
