Elvis “The King of Rock n Rumble” Sinosic, world famous in both submission grappling and the sport of MMA, is know as a fighter who will take on the toughest of challenges. On Saturday, April 21st, Elvis will take on The Ultimate Fighter 3 winner, Michael Bisping at UFC 70: Nations Collide – the largest MMA event to ever be seen in the UK – at Manchester’s MEN Arena. Elvis was kind enough to take some time to talk to BuddyTV about his upcoming fight against Bisping and what we can expect to see from him when he steps foot in the cage this coming Saturday.

BuddyTV: So how are you physically? Are you healthy and ready for your fight against Michael Bisping?
Elvis: I am good. I have trained hard and I am ready for the fight. I am looking forward to this match.
How do you plan on engaging Bisping?
The way I always do. I will move forward using my striking to either setup the KO or the takedown. I’m not fussed where the match ends up.
How have you been preparing for this particular fight? Are you doing anything differently?
No, I always like to prepare for my matches the same way, by training hard. Though the strategy from match to match may change (and hence the focus on what I working on) the overall training remains the same.
What weaknesses do you feel Bisping possesses and how do you plan on exploiting those weaknesses?
Weaknesses is probably not the best choice of terminology. I don’t think Bisping is weak. There are areas of fighting that I’d like to test out during the match. I think I bring a lot more experience against World Class opponents than he is used to facing. We’ll see how that pans out during the fight.
Other than Bisping, who else would you like to fight right now?
Really anyone who leads me to the title. Chuck is the man right now, so I’ll fight whoever leads me to him.
Who are some of your heroes in and outside of the cage?
Tough question. In the cage I wouldn’t call them heroes, but there are some fighters who I admire for what they have achieved or the way they hold themselves. Randy Couture is one of those guys. Outside of the cage, it’s my mother. I like to think that everything I do in life will make her proud.
After your fight against Bisping, what does the rest of the year have in store for you? What can fans expect from you?
A couple of weeks after UFC 70 I am heading to the U.S. to compete in the ADCC World Championships. So that is my next focus. After that, we’ll see what happens.
Do you have any final thoughts for your fans out there?
You know that when I step into the Cage that there will be fireworks. This match won’t be any different. To all those that believe in me, thanks for all your support. To all those that don’t, hopefully this match will change your minds.
