Do you remember Running Wilde, the Will Arnett sitcom on FOX? It ended abruptly in December with four unaired episodes, and now fans will finally get to see those episodes, but not on FOX.
The network has moved Running Wilde to its sister network, FX, and the final four episodes being airing Thursday, April 28 at 10pm.
I’ll admit that the show got off to a rough start, but the total comedic genius of Will Arnett makes it worth watching all by itself. Even if it’s not on FOX, I’m happy the final four episodes will see the light of day.
The four-week run begins with “Jack’s Back,” in which rich playboy Steve Wilde (Arnett) helps his old frat brother (guest star Rob Corddry). The episode will be followed by a rerun of the last new episode from FOX, “One Forward Step.”
If that’s not enough to get you to watch, the season (and series) finale, which will air Thursday, May 19, features Jeffrey Tambor as Steve’s father. Tambor previously played Arnett’s father on Arrested Development.
Burning off the unaired episodes on another network might seem silly, but it’s much better than the alternative: waiting for the DVD or, even worse, putting them online (yeah, I’m talking about The Cape).
So remember to watch the final four episodes of Running Wilde Thursdays at 10pm on FX.
