Andrew Firestone, star of ABC’s reality series The Bachelor season 3, ended his bachelor days as he proposed to Serbian model Ivana Bozilovic. According to Us Weekly, Firestone and Bozilovic dated for two years prior to Bozilovic’s acceptance of his marriage proposal. She said, “[Firestone] is a lot more down-to-earth than I pictured him.” An engagement party has been scheduled in two weeks.
Firestone, a 31-year old native of Santa Barbara, California, graduated from the University of San Diego with a degree in business administration. This part owner of the San Diego restaurant Confidential, and general manager of Firestone Vineyard appeared on The Bachelor season 3, in which he chose Jennifer Schefft and proposed to her during the season’s finale. After several months of dating, the couple split in December of 2003. In February 2004, rumors surfaced that the Schefft and Firestone were in the process of reconciliation, however, the reunion never materialized. After Schefft’s split from Firestone, she landed a spot on the reality dating show similar with the premise of The Bachelor, The Bachelorette. and ended up rejecting the marriage proposals of both her final two suitors.
After everything that has happened between them, Schefft still had something positive to say about her ex-boyfriend and his life as a newly engaged man. Schefft said, “”I’m happy for [Firestone], I wish them all the luck in the world.” Schefft just finished writing a relationship book entitled “Better Single Than Sorry: A No Regrets Guide to Loving Yourself and Never Settling,” and presently works as a public relations executive in Chicago.
As for Bozilovic, a 29-year old model and actress, she previously worked in films like 100 Girls, National Lampoon’s Van Wilder and Wedding Crashers. She also co-hosted the reality television program Hotlines.
