The 99th precinct is staying open. FOX has renewed the Andy Samberg comedy Brooklyn Nine-Nine for a fifth season.
The renewal ensures that the show will hit its landmark 100th episode. It joins The Last Man on Earth and The Mick in terms of FOX’s live-action comedies being renewed. Freshman shows Son of Zorn and Making History were both cancelled, while no decision has been made yet on the fate of New Girl.

This news also ensures that every major broadcast network has a show from Fall 2013 coming back for a fifth season. NBC has The Blacklist, the CW has The Originals, CBS has Mom and ABC has The Goldbergs and Agents of SHIELD.
