The dancing will continue on FOX for another year. The network has officially renewed So You Think You Can Dance for season 14, and it will return to its original, non-kid format.
After season 13 saw child contestants, SYTYCD is going back to basics with dancers ages 18-30 competing on season 14. As in previous seasons, the Top 10 will be partnered with fan-favorite All-Stars in their quests to earn the title of America’s Favorite Dancer.
Auditions for season 14 will take place in New York on March 4-6 and Los Angeles on March 17-19. As per usual, SYTYCD will air over the summer.
The return to its regular format is designed to bring fans back after season 13 with its young dancers saw a notable dip in the ratings and viewer reaction. However, the reality dance competition field will get more crowded than usual this year between SYTYCD, Dancing with the Stars and NBC’s new Jennifer Lopez show, World of Dance.
So You Think You Can Dance season 14 will air Summer 2017 on FOX.
