With only a few days left before the season 7 premiere of Game of Thrones, HBO has released yet another teaser in the form of episode titles and plot summaries. Much like the show’s trailers and previews, the synopses are brief and vague. But to a hardcore fan, these are spoiler crumbs that are likely to spawn some theories and speculations.

So what does this mean? As the newly crowned King of the North, Jon Snow will most likely try to solidify House alliances. Daenerys, on the other hand, is finally returning to Dragonstone as the premiere’s title suggests. And since Stannis Baratheon is no longer in the picture, coming home for Dany appears to be an easy feat.
Dany also seems to take center stage in the second episode as the title refers to one of her names. As for her unexpected visitor, it’s possible that it’s Jon, who is presumably seeking help in the fight against the White Walkers. Unfortunately, Jon can’t seem to catch a break as he is expected to deal with yet another revolt. On the other hand, Tyrion plotting the conquest of Westeros doesn’t really come as a surprise considering his history with war organization. This time, he’s likely moving forward with Varys and Dany by his side.
The title of the third episode most likely refers to either Dany or Cersei or maybe even both. Jamie’s realization may be related to his sister but other than that, it doesn’t reveal much.
Meanwhile, Sophie Turner has also dropped some hints about what’s in store for her character Sansa Stark, including how she feels about her half-brother being named King of the North, her relationship with Littlefinger and her state of mind as we enter season 7.
“At the beginning of this season, she’s finally acquired that power and respect from Jon, but not the power that she really feels that she deserves. She’s respected, but not enough to be hailed Queen of the North like she kind of hoped at the end of last season. You saw that exchange, that look between her and Littlefinger. It was almost like an ‘I told you so’ from Littlefinger, or ‘You should listen to me.’ At the beginning of this season, it’s about her dealing with a certain newfound power, but also kind of figuring out who she really wants to trust and where her loyalties lie — and who’s loyal to her, too,” Turner told Variety.
Still, that doesn’t mean that she trusts Littlefinger.
“It’s questionable,” Turner said of Sansa’s relationship with Littlefinger. “He clearly owes her a lot, and he lived up to that and saved her when she needed it. He claimed Winterfell for her. There’s a certain mistrust that was there, but she kind of feels like he’s paid his dues and shown his loyalty, and I think she’s considering having him back on her team.”
Turner also thinks that while Sansa is happy for Jon, she’s also frustrated.
“She’s of course happy for him. He’s family. But there’s a certain level where she doesn’t feel like she’s been recognized for the fact that she effectively saved everyone’s asses and kind of saved the day in the Battle of the Bastards. So there’s a certain frustration there. And of course I think she knows that now they’re going to be working together a lot better, because after giving her that kill of Ramsey, he’s kind of shown that he appreciates her and will listen to her a lot more, but there is a little bit of frustration and hurt there — hurt that he didn’t say anything or hail her as Queen of the North,” she continued.
