The students at McKinley High can breathe a sigh of relief that all their hard work (all two episodes worth) paid off after performing the school musical, Grease. But this week, get ready for them to be involved in a superhero-themed episode, directed by Ian Brennan. FOX has released the five songs featured in Thursday’s “Dynamic Duets.”

Here’s the list of songs we can look forward to seeing performed: David Bowie’s “Heroes,” Kelly Clarkson’s “Dark Side,” R.E.M.’s “Superman,” Bonnie Tyler’s “Holding Out for a Hero” and fun.’s “Some Nights.” As you can see, they’ve chosen some very fitting songs for the superhero storyline.
“Dark Side” — Blaine and the Warblers
“Superman” — Ryder and Jake
“Holding Out for a Hero” — Kitty and Marley
“Heroes” — Sam and Blaine
“Some Nights” — New Directions
All of the above songs except for “Superman” will be included on Glee: The Music, Season 4 — Volume 1, in stores November 27.
