Mark Salling, best known for playing Puck on the FOX musical comedy Glee, has died. He was found dead near his Los Angeles home by police today. He was 35.
The actor recently plead guilty to possession of child pornography charges. He was awaiting sentencing in March where he could have received up to seven years in prison in addition to being registered as a sex offender. Authorities are investigating cause of death, though early speculation is that it may have been suicide.
For six seasons Salling played Noah Puckerman on Glee. He is the show’s second young main cast member to die. His co-star, Cory Monteith, died in 2013 from a drug overdose.
