Spotted: J and E kissing at Madison Square Garden, New York. This isn’t a scene from Gossip Girl that requires some scripted smooching. This is a very momentous display of public affection that was caught by cameras during Monday night’s Lakers-Knicks game.
Ed Westwick and Jessica Szohr, who plays Chuck Bass and Vanessa on Gossip Girl respectively, have been rumored to be dating since December last year after being spotted at the Dallas airport before boarding a flight to La Guardia Airport.
“They were trying to be discreet by stealing kisses near the gate,” a source told the New York Post. The pair boarded the plane and, according to the source, “they were kissing in the aisles, but once they sat, she read her script and he drank a Heineken.”
At the time, a representative for both stars said, “We do not discuss our clients’ personal life.”
But it seems that fans can now put a stop to the dating rumors as the Gossip Girl couple has now decided to make it public once and for all. During Monday night’s basketball game, which saw Kobe Bryant score 61 points to help the Los Angeles Lakers to a 126-117 win over the New York Knicks, the couple shared a passionate kiss together.
Aside from the Lakers-Knicks game, Ed Westwick and Jessica Szohr were also spotted last Thursday canoodling at Brother Jimmy’s BBQ and snuggling at Citrine during the private Kings of Leon after-party.
Westwick was previously linked to Annelyse Schoenberger, Allison Mosshart, and Drew Barrymore, while Szhor was previously rumored to be dating Rafi Gavron and Jason Lewis.
