Stars of the teen-centric Twilight saga and CW series Gossip Girl came home big winners in their respective categories at the 11th Annual Teen Choice Awards, held Sunday evening at the Gibson Theater and broadcast on Monday night.
The event was hosted by the Jonas Brothers, who also won for Choice Breakout TV Show, Comedy Actors, and Red Carpet Fashion Icons. After casting 83 million votes, America’s teens crowned Twilight supreme, with the film winning 11 awards. Pop icon Britney Spears received the evening’s Ultimate Choice Award. In the TV category, Gossip Girl, Jonas, and Hannah Montana were big winners alongside other victors mostly from the reality TV realm.
