Hawaii Five-0 season 3 continues on Monday, February 18 with an episode called “Pa’ani.” From the synopsis of the episode and the preview clips, it looks like this episode is going to be full of football and bromance. Talk about the perfect combination.
First up, here is the official synopsis of the episode from CBS:
It’s an All-Pro football weekend in Hawaii and while Danny obsesses about the big game, Five-0 investigates the murder of a tech executive with the help of a star football player. The Houston Texans’ All-Pro running back Arian Foster, Pat Monahan from the band Train and Larry Manetti (Magnum P.I.) guest star in this episode.
From the synopsis we know two things: Danny is going to be (hopefully hilariously) obsessed with football and (OMG!) Larry Manetti is guest starring!? Yes, as a matter of fact I was a huge fan of Magnum P.I. back in the day; how did you know?
In the first preview video, we find Danny and Steve heading out to the field to question a witness about the murder.
Here are a few more things we know from watching the preview:
- Danny is especially obsessed with Peyton Manning.
- Their witness was in a scuffle with a couple people that may be involved in their case.
- Apparently Danny is for football what Trekkies are for Star Trek: so obsessed that he remembers every game and every play and wants to know every detail.
- Danny’s fantasy football league is very important to him.
- The player’s ring may end up being an important part of their investigation.
In the second preview video, Steve and Danny are having a chat about going out to a bar when Catherine shows up to surprise Steve at work. After that things get a little heated and then suddenly the talk turns to man-dates and three-way bromances.
Here are a few more things we know from watching the preview:
- Danny may actually be getting a tad annoyed with Steve for always driving.
- Neither Danny, nor Steve, like the Dallas Cowboys.
- Catherine has no problem backing “America’s team.”
- Danny gets an A+ for a literary reference.
- Catherine has a proposal for Steve, but Steve turns her down to go on a man-date with Danny.
What do you think now that you’ve seen clips from this episode of Hawaii Five-0. What part are you most excited to see, the guest stars (Larry Manetti), the investigation into the case or Steve and Danny’s man-date?
Hawaii Five-0 airs on Monday nights at 10pm on CBS.
