Hawaii Five-0 season 3 continues on Monday, March 18 with an episode called “Na Ki’i.” The show might be in the middle of a mini hiatus, but we’ve found some spoilers and casting news to keep you occupied in the meantime.
Meeting Steve’s Former SEAL Buddy
First up, we have news from Spoilers Guide about a profoundly emotional episode coming up for McGarrett. The details are sketchy at the moment, but it looks like we’re going to meet an old friend of Steve’s in episode 20, via a series of flashbacks. We’ll see them both as young SEAL students and learn more about a massive, deadly encounter that they both had in South Korea while working on a special assignment. Sadly, Steve’s friend died in the firefight, but in the present day we’ll see that his partner’s body is missing.
Could it be that Steve’s partner isn’t really dead? That’s usually where storylines go when a body is missing, but I guess we’ll just have to wait and see.
Smallville’s Alan Ritchson Guest Stars
Next up, we have casting news for the very same episode. According to Zap2it, Alan Ritchson will be guest-starring as Steve’s partner (aka the missing corpse). The site gives a few more details about the flashbacks, saying that we’ll see Steve and his buddy as they supported each other through some extremely difficult conditions, and later, in battle together, when they had to make some painful choices together.
For those who make not recognize his name, Ritchson played Thad Castle on Blue Mountain State and also appeared as Smallville‘s Aquaman.
Danny Get Extremely Aggressive
Finally, we have some news for you Danny lovers out there. According to TVLine, our dear Danno is going to have his own drama in another upcoming episode. The team is going on the hunt after a person abducting little girls and I’m sure you can imagine that Daddy Danny is going to take the case really personal. He will apparently get extremely aggressive during the investigation. So aggressive in fact that he hands his badge over to Steve.
Whoa, sounds like both the guys are going to have a lot of emotions to deal with as Hawaii Five-0 inches closer to the season 3 finale. Whose story are you most excited to see, Danny’s or Steve’s? What do you think will bring Danny to the point of giving up his badge? Do you wonder if Steve’s old SEAL buddy could still be alive?
Hawaii Five-0 airs on Monday nights at 10pm on CBS.
